“The Waves” We took a drive to the back side of Salt Pond and the waves were huge. They came crashing into the rocks and spraying water everywhere. The kids thought it was pretty cool. I wish it would have been possible to have someone standing there to show how high the crashing waves were. Anyone wanna volunteer for next time? Haha.

“Poipu Sunset” My dad decided to take the kids for the night, since it’s his birthday, so Sam and I got the night off. We had an early dinner and then headed down to catch the sunset. This photo is unedited.

“Wahi Pana” I spent my childhood frequenting this beach because it was close to our home and my stepdad’s ashes are scattered straight out from the point. Needless to say, this is one of the special places on Kauai for me.

“Sunset Surf” Here’s another pic from yesterday…we went down to Salt Pond after work with the kids. The sunset was absolutely gorgeous and the waves were huge. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen sets that big there. It was a reminder of why people say we are lucky to live on Kauai.
